Keren Levy was born in 1981 in Herzlya, Israel. At the age of 10 years she moved to Switzerland, but kept the wish to become a diver. In 2005, she studied Biology and went to Eilat, Israel, to finally participate in a diving course. In 2008, she felt the need to document the underwater world, and started to photograph with a Canon Point&Shoot camera. Later on, she made her Masters degree in marine Biology, and took the camera to all dives. She got addicted. Today, she still photographs underwater with a Canon Point & Shoot camera, but also has a fetish for insects photography, for which she uses her Nikon D80 with macro Objectiv. Nature and Photography are still her passion, but unfortunately not her living.
