UWP: JASON JUE
I'm originally from the USA, but now live in the Philippines to focus on diving and more recently underwater photography. I first learned film based photography in 1994 and started taking underwater photographs in 2008. Topside, I still enjoy shooting with vintage film based cameras (Speed Graphic 4x5, Holga 120, Stereo Realist 3D, etc) and shooting stereo 3D. Since film is hard to buy and develop where I am, my focus is shooting the underwater world with my compact Canon G10 camera setup. Most my underwater photos were taken in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
My underwater work has been featured in The Smithsonian Magazine, the National Geographic Your Shot website, The Encyclopedia of Snake Species book, and will soon to be published in the Edition Fifty Fathoms art magazine special edition "Macro Portfolios". Additionally, I've had an underwater video broadcasted on the Canadian TV show Tous pour un.
