Juanmi Alemany was born in Tenerife (Canary Islands) in 1973. Diving instructor, professional diver and nature photographer specializing in underwater photography, has dived and photographed in many parts of the world for more than fifteen years searching the best shots. Besides being recognized with many awards for his images, he has published his photographs in newspapers and magazines of national and international renown, such as National Geographic, El Pais, Los Angeles Times and Lifestyle Magazine and many others. In addition, he has worked as a photographer in collaboration with the Govern of Tenerife and Fuerteventura, the Directorate-General for Environment of the Canary Islands, national parks and marine reserves. has made numerous exhibitions and screenings in different places and go for years with their images to schools in order to educate the young people to respect our oceans.
