Jun Lao is a stubborn & passionate muck dive enthusiast, believing that every dive area in the world has its own little muck heaven. While having been able to dive Palau, Bali, Phuket, Sipadan, Mabul & Kapalai, he is most proud of his critter finds in unfrequented dive sites such as Nha Trang Vietnam & Koh Rong Cambodia. Having found my first hairy frogfish in Nha Trang started my obsession in finding and putting on the map new critter dive opportunities. Exploring Koh Rong  yielded much seahorses and several rare nudibranch species. His most recent assignment is proving through photography that there are wonderful muck dive opportunities in Subic Bay Philippines, a site written off as good just for wreck diving.

Beyond muck, Jun has several videos which went viral over the web and have aired over NHK Japan, ABS-CBN Southern Tagalog news, GMA TV 11 and has done marine conservation exploration work with CTSP/WWF Philippines.

He may be found most frequently in his favorite playground, Secret Bay Anilao Philippines, patiently waiting for the perfect marine behavior shot while stubbornly hoping a whaleshark may surprisingly pass by.
